October 1 bombing: Keyamo stalls Okah’s trial

ABUJA—Lagos-based lawyer, Mr. Festus Keyamo, yesterday, persuaded the Abuja Division of the Federal High Court to adjourn the trial of alleged mastermind of the 2010 Independence Day bomb blast that killed twelve persons at Eagle Square in Abuja, Mr. Charles Okah, till October 7.

Keyamo, through a letter he wrote to the court, said he was mandated by the Okah family to personally defend their son, Charles.
Charles, who is a younger brother to the ex-leader of the Movement for the Emancipation of the Niger Delta, MEND, Mr. Henry Okah, is facing terrorism charges alongside one Obi Nwabueze.
