Muslims urged to see politics as part of Islam

Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola of Lagos has urged residents of Lagos to be more security conscious and register with the Lagos StateResidents Registration Agency LASRRA just as  the Chief Imam of Nigerian Law school, Victorial Island, Lagos, Barrister Muhammad Iskil Lawal,  urged muslims to see Politics as part of Islam.

The Special Adviser on Education, Otuba Fatai Olukoga who represented governor Fashola at a Ramadan lecture organised by the old studentsassociation of the Ansar-ud-deen College, Isolo, said  residents should be more security conscious, adding; “You should be able to knowthe person seating next to you in a place of worship. adding that LASRRA will enable government to know those living in Lagos and allplaces of worship.

Delivering the lecture of the day, themed: ‘Islam,Politics and Ethics in Nigeria,’ the Chief Imam of Nigerian Law school, Victoria
Island,Barrister Muhammad Iskil Lawal,  urged muslims to see Politics as part of Islam, adding that  Allah gives authority and kingdom towhoever he wishes. “Islam has moral ethics that must be duly observed, not minding the fact that Nigerian politics is full of skirmishes.
