OWERRI—The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Imo State, has said it would provide a level playing ground for all its aspirants in next year’s general elections. The State Chairman of the party, Chief Nnamdi Anyaehie, stated this yesterday, while briefing newsmen shortly after a meeting of the party in Owerri.
He said the party would no longer tolerate the media war among aspirants to elective positions in the state.
He said: “All members of PDP in Imo State must abide by the advice of from the national headquarters of the party. We will provide a level playing ground for all aspirants.”
The Minister of State 1, for Foreign Affairs, Professor Viola Onwuli-ri, also told newsmen that members of the party were united and had resolved to work for the success of the party.
