UGHELLI—FORMER Secretary to Delta State Government, Obarisi Ovie Omo-Agege, has begun consultations for his 2015 gubernatorial ambition with a vow to carry all parts of the state along if elected.
Speaking during a consultation meeting with the National Executive and the Elders Council of Urhobo Political Congress, UPC, Omo-Agege, said: “I will pilot the affairs of the state with a pan-Delta mindset if given the mandate. I am offering myself for service to all Deltans.”
Insisting that aspirants from the three senatorial districts in the state contested in the gubernatorial elections that produced Chief James Ibori and Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan in 1999 and 2007 respectively, he said; “Chief Ibori and Uduaghan did not emerge on the basis of zoning.”
