Minna – The Northern States Governors’ Forum (NSGF) has condoled with Vice President Namadi Sambo over the death of his younger brother, Capt. Yusuf Sambo.

In a condolence message, the NSGF Chairman, Gov. Babangida Aliyu of Niger, on Monday said: “We feel and share in your grief. Take heart.”

Capt. Yusuf, who was the immediate younger brother to the vice president, died on Sunday on the Bill Clinton drive Airport Road Abuja, in a car accident.

The forum said that the best tribute the vice president could pay to the memory of the departed was for him to continue to touch more lives positively.

The forum said although Capt. Yusuf’s death was untimely, life was not about how long people lived but how people impacted positively on the environment around them.

The forum emphasised the deceased brought change to his immediate family and the aviation industry where he worked as a pilot for many years.

The statement prayed God to give Vice President Sambo and members of his family the fortitude to bear the loss.

The forum also prayed God to grant the departed soul eternal rest.
