Bayelsa United head coach Richard Bubagha has assured his side will achieve the required result against Ivorian side Sewe Sport to head into the group stage of the Caf Confederation Cup.
The nation’s survivors on the continent lost 0-2 to the West African side in Abidjan in the playoff first fixture and will have to score at least three unreplied goals today at the Sapele Township Stadium to guarantee progression to the group stage of Africa’s second-tier club competition.
“It won’t be tough for us to cancel the deficit as we’re determined to score three unreplied goals or even more goals.
“We know our shortcomings, which is finishing. We’ve been working on our finishing and I’m positive we’ll get it right on Saturday.”
“The spirit among the players is high, we don’t have any injury worries, we assure Nigerians that we won’t disappoint them but will overcome the Ivorian side to book our passage to the group stage.
“There is no reason for them to lose sleep, rather commit the entire team into prayer.
