Uduaghan’ll finish strong, Utuama assures Deltans

UGHELLI—DELTA State deputy governor, Prof. Amos Utuama, has assured the people of the state that the Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan-led administration will finish strong, come 2015.

Speaking at a special thanksgiving mass in honour of Chief Tom Amioku, Commissioner Representing Delta State on the board of the Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, Utuama said: “I have been a beneficiary of the prevailing grace of God. We will do everything as a state government to finish strong. We have turned our cities into construction sites. The Asaba airport is now working and we are also expanding the Osubi airport.

“We are investing heavily in our children intellectually and otherwise. We are building a crops of entrepreneurs in the state through the microcredit scheme with over 100,000 persons as beneficiaries. We are building all of these to diversify the economy through the Delta Beyond Oil programme.”
