The Public Relations Officer of the Students Union of Adeniran Ogunsanya College of Education (AOCOED), Otto-Ijaniki, Adebowale Odunayo, has made a clarification of the tuition charged by the college.

Comrade Odunayo, who spoke with our correspondent on the phone, noted that students are expected to pay N40, 000 for the first year in college, N30, 000 and N25, 000 for the second and third year respectively.

“The tuition is not N95, 000 a session; it is for the entire three year period on the college,” he said.

He argued that the clarification is needed in the wake of misinterpretation by a section of the public who assumed that the students are to pay N95, 000 per session.

It will be recalled that students of the college took to the street on Monday, following an increment in the tuition, which would have made each student pay N40, 000 per session, totaling N120, 000 for the three year period in the college.
