BENIN CITY –A member of the House of Representatives, Mr. Friday Itulah, has said that the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will emerge stronger from its current crisis to win all subsequent elections in the country.
He represents Esan North/Esan South East Federal Constituency of Edo State.

Speaking to Vanguard, weekend in Uromi after meeting with party faithful in the area, he said that Nigerians were no fools nor can they be deceived as they are aware of which of the political parties that can provide democratic dividends to them.

“Nigerians should not allow the deception they have been witnessing to border them because the representatives were elected by the people. The representatives are not the ones who determine what the people want and many of these people that are defecting from one party to the other are doing so without carrying their people along.
“So, let nobody be scared about the defection either in the National or State Assemblies. The constitution says that you cannot seek an elective position without being sponsored by a political party; so it is the platform on which you were elected that you ought to defend till the very end of that tenure.”
