One of the three governorship aspirants of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Osun State for the next election, Hon. Wole Oke has declared that he is the right man for the job.

He also said that of all the three aspirants of PDP, he remains the man to beat for the sole ticket of his party for the race.

Other PDP governorship aspirants from the state include a former federal lawmaker and Minister of Youth Development, Senator Olasunkanmi Akinlabi and former Chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriation, Senator Iyiola Omisore.

Speaking exclusively with  Saturday Vanguard, the former Chairman, House Committee on Defence, Hon. Oke stated that he was sure to pick the party’s ticket if the primary is free and fair.

He warned that any attempt to favour a particular aspirant against the people’s choice would lead to the defeat of the party at the poll.

Hon. Oke however expressed optimism of his party to prepare a level playing ground for the three aspirants for the best candidate to emerge.
