Abuja – Former Vice-President Atiku Abubakar on Sunday in Abuja said his initiative of making all-round consultation would reinforce the country’s shared values and move Nigeria forward.

Abubakar said this in a statement signed by his Media Assistant, Malam Garba Shehu.

“I believe that this consultative process will reinforce our shared values and throw up a new way forward for our dear country,’’ he said.

The former presidential aspirant also said he would continue to listen to ideas from various groups of Nigerians, which he believed could bring about hopes.

“This is to ensure that we can together build a future we all can be proud of,’’ he said.

Abubakar said the present political times call for hard work on his part “because Nigerians matter to us and our country also matters too”.(NAN)
