The House of Representatives was Wednesday, forced to adjourn its plenary session due to intermittent power cuts which affected the public address system of the House.
Speaker of the House Hon. Aminu Tambuwal who presided over the day’s proceedings had to defer the session till tomorrow.

While briefing journalists about the bill recently Hon. Elumelu had said NHIS as presently constituted could not provide universal insurance cover Nigerians.
He explained that: “In order for the National Health Insurance Scheme (NHIS) to cover the entire nation, there is a need for the establishment of a National Health Insurance Commission which would serve as the regulatory body.”
