Also, two teenage brothers of same parents have been arrested in Ogbe-Ijoh, Warri South-West local government area of the State over the death of their six- year-old step sister.
State Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Mr. Famous Ijieh said in Asaba yesterday that “following successful raids at criminal hideouts in Kwale on February 21 and 22, 16 suspects were arrested and an improvised explosive device was recovered, including nine live ammunition. They (suspects) made useful statements.
“We also arrested two brothers of same parents at Ogbe-Ijoh aged 17 and 19 respectively over the death of their step sister. It was quite atrocious.
“When the father of the boys died, their mother remarried another man and they all moved in with their mother. Reports said that the two boys were secretly having carnal knowledge with the six-year-old girl until the girl started to develop protruded stomach. And when she was taken to the hospital she died.”
