Not even die-hard Barcelona fans would have believed that their darling club would turned the tie around in their favour – not with that number of goals. But it happened. Barcelona have risen above their previous defeats particularly by Milan and Real Madrid to put up stunning performance against AC Milan Tuesday night at Nou Camp.
After defeat in the San Siro three weeks ago, Xavi Hernandez pointed out that the only thing this generation of Barca players were lacking after three leagues, two Champions Leagues and two Copa del Rey titles over the past four seasons was a historic European comeback. That they did perfectly last night against Milan.
Two goals from Lionel Messi led a stunning Barcelona fightback as they overturned a 2-0 first-leg deficit against AC Milan with a 4-0 demolition of the Italians at the Camp Nou on Tuesday night. That’s something for the fans to cheer for.
However, the question is: Does this present Barcelona team has what it takes to win the champions league?
