Since Wizkid tore through the lid and exposed via his tweet the uneasy calm existing between himself and E.M.E music label, die hard fans have found themselves torn between their love for the young super star and the irresistible voice of the king of ballad, Banky W, who co-owns E.M.E’ … It’s still unbelievable, Wizkid at war with Banky W! fans had hoped this was one terrible disagreement that would just go away, but it is not to be.
Banky W has attacked reporters calling them fabricators of stories but the echoes of the crisis now resonates far beyond the walls of the music label.
On Friday, Banky W held his much anticipated Grand love concert at the Civic Centre on Victoria Island, Lagos, pulling thousands in attendance, EME acts Shaydee and Skales performed.
Wizkid was nowhere to be found.
This has further strengthened the earlier disheartening conclusions made by fans that Wizkid has ‘left’ E.M.E for good.
