Something good is happening (IV)
By Johnson Omomadia
With the Almighty God, who is the King of Glory, something Good is always happening.
It may appear to man as though all is lost but when God is involved you can be assured that something good will come out of it. God’s works are always excellent and marvelous. He that began a good work is always faithful to complete it.
God never starts a project without completing it. Remember how He told Satan in the book of Genesis that the seed of the woman shall bruise the head of the serpent.
Did He complete it? Of course He did. God made sure that He protected, guarded that statement until the seed (Jesus), came into existence and bruised the head of the serpent, and gave us absolute victory.
There was this sister whom while in the world (not born again) so much enjoyed herself and ended up destroying her womb due to abortions.
This sister heard about Jesus and gave her life to Jesus. She became committed to the work of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Then a young Christian brother approached her for marriage.
Before she accepted, she told the man about her womb and the young man said it didn’t matter because God can put in her a new womb supernaturally.
So they got married and started trusting God for a child. Daily they spoke to the body of the sister but without any change in the physical.
However, God had started doing something good in the life of the sister through the words of God they daily declared over the sister. Not quite long after, the miracle working God did the unthinkable. The sister became pregnant and had a wonderful baby.
Doctors could not explain it, but it happened. This is why if you are a child of God, no matter your past, know that God is doing something good for you if you have repented. Don’t be discouraged. Don’t give up. Don’t surrender.
Don’t turn away from God. That is just what the devil wants you to do, but listen to me, Satan is already a defeated foe and he remains so forever.
God will not save you and leave you at the mercy of the devil. He will surely bring you to the place of rest, peace, joy and triumph. He always does. This is why He is God.
Remember the three Hebrew boys, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego in Daniel chapter 3. These boys refused to bow to a strange God but prefer to burn in the fire of man than in the fire of God. As a result of their decision, king Nebuchadnezar was so angry that he decided to increase the heat of the fire seven times more than normal.
I am sure that at this point in time, everyone present would be urging the Hebrew boys to change their mind and bow and go to God for forgiveness (this is what most of us do) but these boys instead said (vs 16-18) “0 Nebuchadnezar, we are not careful to answer thee in this matter.
If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and He will deliver us out of thine hand, 0 king. But if not, be it known unto thee, 0 king, that we will not serve the gods nor worship the golden image which thou hast set up”.
While this was going on, the people must have felt pity for the boys not knowing that something good was already happening. The bible says that when the three Hebrew boys were thrown into the fire, the boys were not burnt because in that fire, was a fourth man that provided air conditioning service that made it impossible for the fire to consume the boys.
Now hear the words of the king who taught he had all power. “Vs 24:6-25 – Did we not cast three men bound into the midst of the fire?
They said unto the king, true, 0 king. He answered and said, lo, i see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt: And the form of the fourth is like the son of God”. No case, no man, no problem is too big for God to handle.
If you are walking with God, then know that something good is happening to you. Jesus cares so much about you that He cannot leave you alone. He wants you to live a Triumphant Life.
Do you want to experience fulfillment of promises of God in your life? The starting point is you receiving Jesus Christ in your life as Lord and Saviour, if you have not already done so.
