The Nigerian national cricket team defeated their Botswana counterparts by 7 wickets at the ongoing Pepsi/ICC Africa Division 1 T/20 tournament in Uganda.
Botswana batted first at Lugogo and scored a respectable 123/4. Karabo Modise notched 86 off 64 balls and Ogunlola 2/15 could not do much to stop the board ticking but decent knocks from Olatuji Oladotun 67 off 41 balls with support from Segun Oloyinka 25 off 31 balls took the West Africans home with victory.
Uganda on the other hand continued its unbeaten run when they beat Tanzania by 9
wickets. Under a bright sunny morning, Tanzania won the toss and opted to bat posting 62/10 in 20 overs, K Mussa scored 16 and K Rehemtula 13 as F Nsubuga 2/9 in 4 overs and D Karashani 2/14 in 4 overs stepped on the break.
