Bauchi – Following the kidnap of seven foreign workers of Setraco Construction Company in Jama’are Local Govermnt Area in Bauchi state last Saturday the management of the company has evacuated all foreign workers.
The Public Relation Officer of the company, Abu Malik who confirmed this to newsmen on telephone interview disclosed that foreign workers have been evacuated to Abuja temporarily.
Malik said the operation of Setraco Construction company in Jamare has been shut down temporarily .
On the whereabouts of the 7 kidnapped expatriates hired by the company, the spokesman said they were yet to establish any contact with the kidnappers.
Meanwhile, the Bauchi state Police Commissioner, Mohammed Ladan said investigation is still ongoing on the abduction of the expatriates.
It would be recalled that gunmen attacked the camp of Setraco Construction company in Jamare killing a security guard before abducting the seven expatriates. Among those kidnapped are 2 Lebanies, 2 Serians, an Italian, a Briton and a Greek.
