HVP can confirm  that the respected director  has successfully accomplished the task.

Imasuen, in a recent chat with HVP, disclosed that an experimental  TV series better known as “Studio 113” which is a fall out of his pet project- Nollywood  Project 101” has just debuted on  local stations in Benin, including the Edo Broadcasting Service, AIT and ITV Independent television. According to him, the decision to debut the TV series on local stations was informed by  the need to give the budding stars the opportunity to assess themselves as well as look forward for a brighter future in the industry.

Apart from the TV series, Imasuen hinted that that the Project 101 also produced titled an “Open Heavens”, a gospel-oriented based film, which is due to hit the screen soon.

The film director, two years ago set out to raise a new generation of Nollywood actors and actresses.   The scheme which was launched in Benin City has come to fruition.  This achievement, however, is coming at the heel of the completion of  shooting of the popular director’s latest big-budget historic film, Nogbaisi Ovonramewn, in America.

The movie, according Imasuen, tells the story of the last Oba of the ancient Benin Kingdom, Nogbaisi Ovonramwen. He revealed that shooting of the Nigerian account of the movie will begin soon.
