Obviously, not many Barcelona fans got what they bargained for, Wednesday night, when their darling club lost to impressive AC Milan.
Ghanaians Kevin-Prince Boateng and Sulley Muntari both scored in a lively second half as AC Milan inflicted a shock 2-0 defeat on Barcelona in their Champions League last 16, first leg, at the San Siro.
In Nigeria, many Barcelona fans as usual, had completely written off Milan and boasted that the La Liga leaders were already in the next round. However, they were disappointed and forced to eat their words after ninety minutes of an interesting football match.
Now Barcelona face an uphill struggle to turn the tie around after they were unable to get an important away goal at San Siro.
So, how did you see the game between Barcelona and AC Milan? Were you impressed with Barca’s performance? Do you see Barcelona turning the tie around in Nou Camp? What implication will it have if the ‘almighty Barcelona’ fail to reach the final of Champions league for second time running?
