The Super Eagles of Nigeria Sunday evening defeated Stallions of Burkina Faso 1-0 at the National Stadium in Johannesburg to win the 29th edition of the Africa Cup of Nations hosted by South Africa.

Goal from Sunday Mba  in the 39th  minute saw Nigeria lift the coveted prize.
