After a superlative performance which saw the Super Eagles sacking tournament favourites, Cote d’Ivoire from the ongoing Africa Cup of Nations holding in South Africa, the Nigeria team will this evening, slug it out with their Malian counterparts in one of the semi final fixtures.
The time is 4pm (Nigerian time) and the battle ground is Moses Mabhida Stadium, Durban.
It will be recalled that many Nigerians had written off the Eagles after their unimpressive outings during the group stage of the tournament, but all that changed in their game against Cote d’Ivoire in the quarter final, with admiration and praises from all and sundry.
So, as the Eagles file out against Mali today, do you see them replicating same performance – team play, character and discipline? What are your expectations from both the coach and the boys? You can also make your predictions here!
