WARRI- FOUR persons escaped death, Wednesday, when a Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, aircraft overshot the runway at the Osubi Airport, near Warri, in Delta State.
It was not clear what caused the incident, but a top government official confirmed to Vanguard, “Yes, it happened on Wednesday afternoon, nobody was injured, it was actually a minor incident”.
His words, “What happened was that the NNPC plane overshot the runway and kind of crash landed, but the situation was managed carefully by the pilot and nobody was injured”.
It was not clear the persons that were on board the aircraft but it was gathered that normalcy was restored after the incident.
