Tunde Kelani shoots sickle cell movie

Following the success of his last film Maami, ace producer and director, Mr. Tunde Kelani will wow every mind once again as he announces plans to shoot a new movie on the peculiar blood genotype – Sickle cell.

The new movie according to the award winning cinematographer will be based on the book adaptation of Dazzling mirage written by Olayinka Abimbola Egbokhare.

The story races across pacy plots surrounding the life of a sickle cell patient who battles to surmount the crises arising from her rare blood condition.

Tunde Kelani in his announcement said ‘I’m intrigued by the writer’s approach to weave a love story with it and that to me, it is an attraction. I have also had personal relationship with sufferers of this ailment and I consider it my responsibility to bring their story to fore’

Like all of his films, the buzz is already on who will play his main character.  Tunde is popular with using unknown yet extremely gifted actors and actresses for his main movie roles. However, with the success of Maami, played by Funke Akindele, Mr. Kelani may shop for another notable face in the industry.
