KANO – Governor Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso Saturday led the members of his executive council to commiserate with the Emir of Kano over the attack on his convoy by unknown gunmen.
The Governor told reporters shortly after he met the Emir that, ” I have just met with the Emir who is in good condition and I sympathized with him over the loss of three of his staff.”
Kwankwaso revealed that, “we discussed at length over the unfortunate incident, but we thank Almighty Allah that the Emir escaped unhurt”.
He described the attack as “condemnable and unfortunate”, adding that “we would do our best to stop its re-occurence”
