KANO – Kano state government has donated N15 million each to the families of late Danladi Isah Kademi and Ibrahim Abba Garko, former members representing Gaya and Garko in the state House of Assembly who were killed by unknown gunmen in separate attacks in Kano city recently.
Governor Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso while presenting cheques to the families at Government House Kano, said that government has also offered scholarships to the children of the deceased as well as two three-bedroom flat in the city.
Kwankwaso stated that his administration found it necessary to assist the bereaved families and therefore prayed to Allah to grant the late politicians eternal rest.
In their separate remarks, Malam Ibrahim Abba Garko, son of the late Ibrahim Abba Garko and Babannan Isa Kademi thanked the state government for the kind gesture.
