Former under 17 star and Lazio midfielder Onazi Ogenyi has declared his readiness to play and win the Africa Cup of Nations trophy.
His words; “As a footballer, the aim is always to go to the top, my dream is to win the AFCON in South Africa.”
He credited his improved status in the game to God saying “thanks to almighty God for his mercies and favour on me because without him, I can do nothing”.
The youthful international is still excited over his experience when the Eagles played Catalonia in a friendly in Spain where he came face to face with the likes of Xavi, Busquet of Barcelona and Sergio Ramos of Real Madrid he said; “they are mobile and full of tricks. If I was not fast and up to it, I would have found it difficult to contain them.”
The Italy-based midfielder is full of hope in the Super Eagles “with the qualities we have, I see us getting to the finals.”
