Feud: Tell the truth, Anyanwu charges Okorocha

OWERRI—Senator Chris Anyanwu, has said that the best gift Governor Rochas Okorocha of Imo State will give the people of the state is to set a good example, tell the truth, show contrition and move into 2013 with clear conscience.

Speaking through her Special Adviser, Chief Chidi Ibe, the Senator described as “most insulting” a recent statement credited to Okorocha that she “committed a serious security breach” that would have caused the governor’s life.

“The best gift the governor can give the good and courageous people of Imo State is to set a good example for all by coming clean on this small matter, telling the truth, showing contrition and moving into the New Year with a clear conscience.

“Okorocha should religiously admit that he attacked innocent citizens and brutalized one of them for no just cause. His statements and New Year message of conditional forgiveness had betrayed the fact that he personally instructed and supervised the brutilization of innocent Imo citizen,” she added.
