Akure—THE family of Oyekanmi in Ode Irele area of Ondo State, has petitioned the State Commissioner of Police, Danladi Mshelbwala, over the mysterious death of their 47-year-old daughter, Malomo Oyekanmi.
The petitioners from Irele local Government area of the state, said their daughter was murdered in Okitipupa.
According to the petition by Oyekanmi Olawale on behalf of the family, they accused the police authority in Okitipupa division of delaying investigation into the murder of their daughter.
The Oyekanmis alleged that Malomo was killed in controversial circumstances by her lover, Stephen Edolor last week.
Olawale said the deceased and Edolor had been living together as live-in lovers.
According to him: “The death of Malomo was reported to the police by a Good Samaritan and the police took custody of the suspect, Stephen Edolor since 23rd January, 2013.The case is yet to be referred to Akure, Ondo State Police Headquarters, Homicide Department for thorough investigations.”
