YENAGOA – THE people of riverside Korokorosei community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, yesterday, urged the state chapter of Civil Liberties Organisation, CLO, to prevail on the Speaker of the state House of Assembly, Mr Kombowei Benson not to provoke crisis in the community.
The community in a letter to the organisation law firm, K.S Sogo noted with concern that the peace of the community may be breached, if the Speaker was not called to order.
The aggrieved community in the letter to CLO by Ebitari Allison, decried what it described as attempt by the speaker to negate its rotational arrangement for yearly election of chairman of Community Development Committee, CDC, by compounds.
