UMUAHIA – GOVERNOR Theodore Orji of Abia State has granted pardon to eight prisoners as part of his Christmas celebration activities.
A statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Ugochukwu Emezue, explained that the governor took the action in reflection of the Christmas mood.
The prisoners pardoned areNgozi Simon convicted of murder, Ngozi Esina who was serving a murder sentence, Okwuonu Emealso serving a murder sentence.

Others are Lawrence Egbu, Chibuzo Azuonwe, Sunday Amal, Chidiebere Jacob and Pius Anizo.
