Abuja – Teams from Ogun and the FCT have booked places in Thursday’s final match in the 2012 National Under-13 Football Championship in Abuja.
In semi-final matches played on Wednesday at the FIFA Goal Project venue of the competition, FCT beat Niger 3 – 0 while Ogun beat Kaduna 4 – 1.
The third-place match will therefore be between Niger and Kaduna state from 2 p.m, while the final match is to kick off by 4 p.m.
The FCT team have remained unbeaten in all four matches they have played so far.
They had earlier beaten Ogun 3 – 1 in the preliminary round of the competition which has eight teams taking part.
The final match will help to determine the champion of the 2012 National Under-13 Championship.
NAN reports that 25 players would be picked for the national under-13 team camp at the end of the competition by the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
