EFCC arrests Gov Sule Lamido’s son over money laundering

ShareOperatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, Wednesday morning, arrested Aminu Lamido, eldest son of the Jigawa State Governor, Alh. Sule Lamido over money laundering allegations.
He was arrested at the Aminu Kano International Airport at about 12.30 am on his way to Cairo, Egypt.
EFCC’s spokesman Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, confirmed the arrest to Vanguard, just as the Kano State Command of the agency is holding a press briefing on the arrest in Kano
