ABEOKUTA — A Federal High Court sitting in Lagos has voided the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP’s congresses conducted by a faction loyal to former President Olusegun Obasanjo in Ogun State in July from which an Executive Committee led by one Dipo Odujinrin has emerged.
Justice Okon Abang, who presided over the case in his judgement at the weekend ordered the affected officials, who emerged from the voided state, local government and ward congresses conducted in the state in July to vacate offices and surrender the affairs of the party to those officials who emerged from the earlier congresses conducted by the harmonised Dayo Soremi led committee.
Justice Abang therefore ordered the PDP to accept the Adebayo Dayo-led committee as the authentic manage- ment body of the party in the state.
