The Pastor in charge of the Evangelical Church of West Africa (ECWA), Kafanchan Branch, Pastor Wakili Kadima has called on Nigerians to always seek God’s intervention to ensure peace and unity of the country.

Kadima made the call in Karu, Nasarawa State, at a thanksgiving and child dedication service organised by the President of Youth Wing Christian Association of Nigeria (YOWCAN), Mr. Simon Dolly.

The cleric said if people imbibe the culture of seeking God’s intervention, it would help them to keep away from falling into difficulties of the world.

He maintained that focusing on material things instead of building good relationship with God could hinder spiritual growth.

His words: “The word of God teaches us to keep our treasure in heaven where they will never perish, it tells us to seek the kingdom of God first and all the riches that we could ever think of will be given unto us and He (God) will keep us from all calamities that fly around.

“The fear of God gives wisdom and helps us to avoid problems. It is through such wisdom that we can imbibe good moral virtues. When we seek God’s intervention in all we do, He will protect us from all dangers.”

In his speech, Dolly promised to live up to moral expectation as a youth leaders, advising youths to see themselves as good potential that can add value to the society.

He told the youths not to allow anybody to use them to cause crisis, adding that when there is peace and stability they can challenge any leader who failed to perform to their expectation.
