IBADAN—THE Central Council of Ibadan Indigenes, CCII, an umbrella body of all socio-cultural organisations has said the recent comments by the National Assembly on creation of state would not discourage it from its clamour for Ibadan State.
This was disclosed by the council’s Chairman, Prince Oluwayemisi Adeaga, while speaking with newsmen on the activities lined up for Ibadan Week festival.
He said: “If you want something in life, you go all out for it, especially when you know there is possibility you could get your desire met.”
He said they would continue to clamour for it.
Also, the council hinted that it had shifted all its activities as a mark of honour for the departed former governor of the state, Alhaji Lamidi Adesina who died on Sunday.
