Breaking news: Gaza truce deal agreed, says senior Hamas official
Report out of the middle east have revealed that Israel and Gaza may have agreed to a truce, according to an AFP report quoting senior Hamas officials.
According to Egyptian foreign minister, the ceasefire will take effect from 1900 GMT.
Israel agrees to give Egyptian truce ‘a chance’- statement
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Wednesday agreed to “give a chance” to an Egyptian proposal for a ceasefire to end a week of bloodshed in and around Gaza, a statement from his office said.
“A short while ago Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu spoke with (US) President Barack Obama and agreed to his recommendation to give a chance to an Egyptian proposal for a ceasefire and thereby give an opportunity for the stabilisation of the situation and a calming of it,” it said.
