Nasarawa -Two men, Sunday Michael and Akinyemi Olaniyi, have appeared before a Customary Court in Mararaba, Nasarawa State, charged with the production of fake drivers’ licences.
The police prosecutor, Joseph Ahuwa, told the court that Aishat Saidu of the Intelligence Department of FRSC, reported the matter at the ‘A’ Division, Mararaba Police Station, on Feb. 29.
“Saidu received information on the illegal production of drivers’ licences in Mararaba and the matter was investigated, leading to the arrest of the accused persons.’’
The two accused persons pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The Judge, Alhaji Habila Abundaga, granted them bail in the sum of N200,000 each and adjourned the case to Dec. 12, for hearing. (NAN)
