UGHELLI-PRESIDENT GENERAL of Urhobo Progress Union, UPU, General Patrick Aziza (rtd,) has said that the union will follow due process in working with security agencies towards the release of kidnapped Delta State Commissioner for Higher Education, Prof. Hope Eghagha and Chief Peter Jitobor.
Aziza, who spoke when youths from Orhuwhorun community, Udu Local Government Area of the state protested to his country home at Adagbrassa, Okpe Local Government Area, over the abduction of the duo, lamented the rising cases of kidnapping in the state and assured that the union was working to ensure their release.
He said: “We will follow due process and work with security and other related agencies and before the week runs out, something positive about them will be heard. Those that are tenants to us should not be the ones kidnapping Urhobo sons, it’s not done anywhere.”
