THE best of automobiles from across the globe will be on parade at the Eagle Square Abuja from October 16 to 24 when the 14th Abuja Motor fair kicks off. Expected to be on display for the nine days exhibition will be the latest technology from leading truck, car and bus makers.
Also to be on display are spare parts, accessories, lubricants as well financials from other other African countries, America, Asia and Europe.
According to BKG Exhibitions Limited, the Organizer’s of the fair, “the determination to keep pace with the growing demand for durable and efficient commercial vehicles and trucks as well genuine spare-parts and easy access to acquiring them by individuals, logistics and business entities in the country, reputable global major players in the automotive businesses have affirmed their readiness to delight patrons and prospective customers with the bests and latest of these products and services at the forthcoming Motor Show.”
Already leading players in the auto sector that have confirmed their participation the fair which has won accolades as: ‘the fastest growing auto show in Africa’-Vanguard Newspaper and ‘the most consistent auto show in Nigeria’-Onwheels Magazine include: Weststar Associates, CFAO Group, Stallion Motors, Lanre Shittu Motors, Toyota Nigeria Limited, PAN Nigeria, National Trucks Manufacturers [NTM], Hyra Motors, JAC Motors, Leventis Motors, WA Industries, Hebei Zhongxing Automobile Company and, Wuhan Dapco Auto parts. Others are: Mansard Assur, Oando Plc, Mobil oil, MRS Oil.
Some of the categories of trucks heading for the premium auto show include: Light and Heavy Duty Trucks, Tractor Heads, Tippers, Trailers Heads, Tankers, Cargo Trucks, Garbage Trucks, These will come from the stables of Leventis Motors-Volkswagen, JCB and Eicher brands, Lanre Shittu Motors-Mack brand and, National Trucks Manufacturers [NTM] with Qungqi brand.
These truck distributorship in Nigeria while announcing their readiness to storm the fair arena with their wide range of heavy and light duty trucks, revealed their determination to unveil the best of the truck world to visitors at the fair. According to them, “we will delight our existing and potential customers with the best of modern trucks as well showcase variants of our tropicalised trucks at the fair ground.”
Most of the Trucks combine the features of workforce and luxury machines which makes driving them akin to driving executive limousines.
Another category of automobiles where keen contest will be high is the luxury car and bus segments. On parade there will be the latest from Toyota Nigeria Limited with Toyota brands of automobiles and spare parts, CFAO Group with Nissan, Isuzu, Chevrolet and Mitsubishi brands. Stallion Motors will parade its multi brands of Honda, Audi, Porsche, Hyundai, Skoda, Mahindra and Volkswagen products; while KIA Motors will showcase the latest in the KIA family etc.
From the China will come cars and buses such as Yaxing from WA Industries, Brilliance, and Geely from the stable of Hyra Motors. The indefatigable Peugeot brands will be at the Eagle Square courtesy of PAN Nigeria, with their flagships such as 508 and the Alvsin brand.
