According to him the laptops would be given to each of the four basic health centres in each of the 18 local government areas, two comprehensive health centres in each of the councils, 18 General Hospitals, two for the Mother and Child Hospital and each of the Monitoring and Evaluation officers of the local government areas.
Dr Adeyanju explained that under the scheme each of the pregnant women accessing the facilities of the state government would be issued with a smart card that would contain all information about her.
“Our officials will use the laptops to collect information from the women at the basic health centres to comprehensive health centres straight to the monitoring and evaluation officers at each of the local government areas and finally to the state monitoring and evaluation officer.
