The Eghara-Aja of Ugborodo Community, Warri South West Local Government Area of Delta State, Eghare Wellington  Ojogor, and his Special Assisistant, Prince Oyebor Aderson, weekend escaped assassination by the whiskers.

In a petition to president Goodluck Jonathan, in which the Inspector General of Police,  the Chief Justice of the Federation and state commissioner of police were copied, signed by his Special Assistant, Prince Ojogor Oyibo Anderson, the royal father alleged that at about 5pm on the 1st day of June, 2012, a gang of about 10 persons forced their way into his premises at Ugborodu Community, armed with dangerous weapons, almost killed him and his Special Assistant, but for the timely intervention of police men whom one of his children quickly contacted .

The traditional ruler further said the gang of assassins hurried out of the premises on noticing the arrival of police men, and proceeded to invade the Ubeji residence of his Special Assistant, Prince Oyebor Anderson, with the intent to kill him but their targeted victim was not at home.

He further alleged that on the 2nd of June, 2012, the same gang of assassins trailed his Special Assistant for over 20 minutes while he (Mr. Anderson) was driving to pick his electrician to detect electric fault in his house, at Ubeji, near Warri.

The royal father disclosed that the incident has been reported to the A Division, Warri, of the Nigeria Police Force who have invited a number of people for questioning, but those invited have not responded to police invitation, hence he was putting a petition across to President to intervene and save his life and the lives of his family members from assassins.
