In America, France and India where the TV reality show holds, the youth have been provided a platform to exhibit their raw, unique and dynamic talents. Today Nigeria joins the rest of the world as Rapid Blue Format and Optima Media Group (OMG), the organizations behind the Nigerian Idols TV show which our TV screens for two seasons brings popular “Got Talent” franchise to Nigeria.
The debut season of the show to be known as the “Nigeria’s Got Talent” will last for six months and it will begin in June and ends in December 2012 . The month of July welcomes the auditions and this is expected to attract thousands of talented Nigerians of all ages and sexes to audition centres located across the country.
Speaking on the new addition to the Nigerian entertainment industry, Mr. Rotimi Pedro, Managing Director of Optima Media Group enthused that , “The group puts Nigeria on the world map again, side-by-side with countries like America, France, and India who have bought into the ‘Got Talent’ franchise; which is one of the fastest growing in the world.

One of the most significant features of the show is the opportunity it will give to talented amateurs and unknown performers to exhibit their talents. With no age barrier in place, performances will be decided by an audience vote.”
