Abia State rocked to the beat of MI, Morachi, DJ Jimmy Jatt among several local talents in a Don Lulu promoted show in Umuahia, the capital city of the state.
It was a night of bliss last weekend in Umuahia for thousands of fun lovers who trooped out to bask in the excitement which has been lacking for a while in the usual sleepy town, but which the promoter did prove and promised to turn around with series of planned mega shows hitting the city and environs in the next few months.
It offered Morachi of Hapuya like that fame to make his long anticipated return on stage with his new release on Don Lulu’s Two Flame entertainment label.
M.I, Mr Incredible and Nigeria’s undisputed king of rap did not disappoint his Abia fans either as he wao-ed them with some of his mega hits which got them singing along and dancing.
Handsome Harry Song’s performance stole the ladies hearts, with the men wishing they were in his shoes as the crowd of adoring female fans swooned to his rhythm.
On the turntable, DJ Jimmy Jatt held his ground spinning popular tunes from the wheels of steel with the audience asking for more even as the show wrapped off around 4am the next day.
No fewer than 6 commissioners and several top govt officials of Abia state including captains of industry were in attendance.
They applauded the efforts of Don Lulu in responding to the call by Governor Theodore Orji to fellow Abians to team up in developing all sectors of the state economy. They called for a repeat performance in the nearest future which should earn the backing of the Abia state government.
Indeed it was a show Abians opportuned to attend, will not forget in a hurry and for a long time to come.
