By Ime Bassey
Sunshine Stars goalkeeper, Moses Ocheje has said that he would keep a clean sheet in today’s CAF Champions League round of 16 in Bamako, Maili against Djiolibo AC if being fielded by the coach.
Speaking to Saturday Vanguard Sports at the airport before leaving for the Malian capital, Ocheje who was in goal for the Akure based team in the return leg of their 3-0 bashing of Recreativo Libolo said he and colleagues will return back to Nigeria with victory.
“I am fit now after I got knocked down against Akwa Utd. The team is battle ready for the game on Saturday (today), the team spirit is high and we are sure of picking a positive result in Mali.
“If I am giving the chance to start the game, I will be able to keep a clean sheet. We conceded cheap goals against Recreativo and we have learnt our lesson going into this game,” Ocheje said.
In the meantime, CAF has named Bema Doumbia from Cote d’Ivoire as match commissioner and Benouza Mohammed from Algeria as center referee. Assistant referees are Bechirene Mohammed, Omari Bouabdallah1 and 2 respectively from Algeria.
The game will be played at the Modibo Keita Stadium, Bamako at 17hr GMT, that is, 6.pm Nigeria time.
