WARRI—DELTA State Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Uduaghan, has set a new yardstick for commissioners in the state.
Commissioner for Housing, Chief Paulinus Akpeki, who disclosed this while meeting with the permanent secretary, department heads and senior officers in his ministry at Asaba, stated that under the new dispensation, “the continual stay in Uduaghan government by any commissioner will depend largely on the implementation of the 2012 budget as approved by the governor.”
His words: “It has, therefore, become necessary for me as the commissioner in this ministry to let you know this, since I have always performed very creditability in all my previous assignments.”
