ADO-EKITI – In an apparent reference to the attack on a Catholic Church on Christmas day, the Ekiti State Governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi has said that the current security challenges in the Northern part of the country may not be unconnected with the April 2011 presidential election.
He said: ’’Politics of who controls the presidency can still not be divorced from the politics of who gained power, who lost power and who wants power back in the April 2011 presidential election.”
He, however, urged the President Jonathan to broaden the base of Government in a more inclusive manner, by so doing, he noted that the issue of terrorism will be a thing of the past .
