Nigeria scientist bags PCRC award

LAGOS— Nigeria’s scientist, Israel Stanley Paul Atatbor, Thursday, bagged the award of an “Adviser in the Alakara Police Community Relations Committee, PCRC.”

In recognition of his dedicated and selfless service to the community and Nigeria in general, he was also awarded “Patron of the Alakara.”

Atabor, who was represented by his wife, Mrs Blessing Stanley Atabor, thanked the people for believing in him by giving him the opportunity to serve. He also thanked the organisers of the event and the Area ‘D’ Command for the award presented to him.

Speaking at the launching of 2012 PCRC calendar and presentation of award in Mushin, Lagos, Area ‘D’ Commander commended PCRC for their efforts in helping the police to maintain better security in the area. He further praised Atabor and other awardees not to relent in their efforts in helping the police to maintain water tightb security in the state at large.

Dignitaries seen at the event include elder sister to Lagos State Governor- Babatunde Fashola, Mojisola Fashola (a.k.a. Iya Oloja), Area ‘d’ Commander- ACP John Edem, Divisional Police Officer (DPO)- CSP Zango, Deacon Emmanuel Nwabrije and many others.
