HIV/AIDS kills 1,000 Nigerians daily – CHAN

The Christian Health Association Of Nigeria, CHAN, has disclosed that no fewer than 1,000 Nigerians die daily from the dreaded HIV/AIDS.

Director of Advocacy of CHAN, Pastor David Omorebokhae,  disclosed this at a One Day Round Table Discussion between CHAN Mission Health Institute and members of the Benue State House of Assembly.

Omorebokhae added that over 1,000 Nigerian women die everyday due to failing maternal healthcare services in the country, warning that the development calls for concerted efforts on the part of governments at all levels to stem the tide.
