Yenagoa – National Youth Leader of Action Congress of Nigeria, ACN, Mr. Ebikibina Miriki has challenged Northern leaders to prevail on the Boko Haram sect over their attacks, which has continued to claim lives of innocent Nigerians in the Northern part of the country.
Reacting to the Christmas day attacks on churches in some parts of the North by the Islamic sect, Miriki, who called on the emirs, governors, political leaders and stakeholders in the region to organise a security meeting, warned that the activities of the sect, if not speedily resolved, was capable of destroying the Nigerian project.
He said, the incessant bombing by the sect, if not checked, could escalate as other groups may take up arms, which could spell doom for the country.
Miriki described the multiple bombings by the extremist sect as an act of cowardice and barbarism targeted at innocent Christians at their places of worship.
